The Asante Akyem Technology Institute (AATI) was incorporated in 2010 as a secondary, technical and vocational institute located at Patriensa, near Konongo.

The vision of the Institute is to promote academic achievement and the effective use of information technology to facilitate learning.

The vision of the Institute is to provide students with a strong technology-driven secondary, technical and vocational education in a safe and supportive environment. To realize this mission, the Institute promotes the creation of innovative programmes, support extracurricular activities, and prepare students for the choices they will make after graduation.

Accredited by the Ghana Education Service, the Institute offers three year programmes in secondary, technical and vocational training leading to the West African Senior Secondary School (WASSCE) examination. Thus, it provides a comprehensive set of senior high school classes that cover core subjects, as well as non-traditional career-oriented programmes.

In addition to the WASSCE courses, AATI offers short-term specialized programmes and courses in Computer Education, Alternative Energy (with special emphasis on Solar Education), and Business Applications. Our curriculum is challenging, innovative, and aligned with national standards. The professional courses are coordinated through the Institute’s Centre for Professional Development.
